Projects Annual Travel Raffle 2008 Adam Hromiak coordinated and chaired our very successful 25th Annual Travel Raffle. First prize was a 7 Day Holland America Line Fall Caribbean or Mexico Cruise for two, valued at $2,089. Rick Ausfran was the winner. Dr. Jonathan Frantz won second prize, a two night ocean getaway in Plymouth, MA. Third place, and the winner of $250, went to Barbara Allen. This year's raffle raised over $4,700 that we will be able to use on our various Rotary Scholarships, Community and Rotary International Projects. Thanks Adam for a great job. Annual Travel Raffle 2007
Doug Woodard (left) chaired and coordinated our most successful Travel Raffle ever. Doug arranged through Holland America Lines for a cruise for two for up to twelve days anywhere Holland America goes. This was a real step up over our old first place prizes of $1,000 or the barefoot cruise we had in 2006. The quality of the cruise enabled us to raise more money on the travel raffle than we ever have with a net of $5,087. A really great job by Doug. This year’s winner of the Travel Raffle and the trip for two up to 12 days on Holland America Lines was Jen Matlock of Ft. Myers, Florida. Below right, Sam Ferrell, President Elect, presented the certificate to Jen at the clubs regular meeting on April 26, 2007 |
